Who runs access
- Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary – tours and eco-lodges (NGO) — Sanctuary visits and overnight stays in the forest.
Field-recording notes
Freetown's generators and traffic reach the lower slopes; the ridge trails and Tacugama's lodges are quiet apart from the sanctuary's own noise. The park is under pressure from building — take the chorus while it is there. Humidity, and heavy fog on the ridge in the rains.
